I am

I am quiet yet outspoken. I am shy yet outgoing. I am serious yet fun. I am as gentle as a dove yet as fierce as a tiger. I am as changeable as the weather. I can drive someone up the wall. I am as faithful as a dog. I am as jealous as a cat. I am as lazy as a lobster. I am as stubborn as an ox. I am as good as gold. I am quick-tempered. I am rude. I am good-hearted. I am not a bad egg. Butter wouldn’t melt in my mouth. I am sometimes a dark horse. I have a mind of my own. I am me.

ECP

East Coast beach is my running ground now. I go there about 3 times a week depending on my schedule. It’s either early in the morning or in the evening after work. But most of the time it’s after work because I am too lazy and tired to wake up in the morning. It’s a nice place to run even though the route is all flat.

Too little time

I have a Sports Biomechanics assignment to submit by next Friday plus another one to submit the following week. We are given a video to analyse and we need answer some questions based on that video. Sports Biomechanics is the study of forces as they relate to humans in exercise and sport. Well there’re some physics and maths calculations involved (forces, velocity, acceleration, momentum, innertia, trigonometry stuffs etc). This Tuesday I have a Biomechanics problem solving test followed by lab and on Thursday it’s Human Anatomy quiz. Time is more precious now!

I cooked

I wanted to cook for us last night. I didn’t have class yesterday night. I skipped running and spent some time in the kitchen instead. I cooked spaghetti, watercress soup and steamed tofu + peanut. I forgot to buy tomatoes, onions and garlic for the spaghetti sauce (duhhhh)! So I ended up using those pre-made spaghetti sauce. End result? Pheww I was disappointed with my spaghetti. But the steamed tofu + peanut was nice!

Wheezing cat

My cat has been wheezing a lot more often (almost everyday) ever since I changed house. I don’t think it’s hairball problems. It could be because of dust or the newly painted walls. I want to bring him to the vet very soon for some blood tests. I suspect he may have asthma or some other respiratory problems. Well he doesn’t look sick but it could be an internal health problem.

This is when he wheezes or coughs.

This was the day when I brought him over to the new house. He has never done that before and this made me worried. I don’t think it was a voluntary action. I think it was a stress attack because of a new house environment. Anyone knows? He only did that on that day.

I wish I were a vet. I think this is the only thing that I regret in life.

Revamping moi-carine

I’m going to revamp moi-carine.com. In the meantime, I must re-open my blog for ad links purposes. Everything is okay on my side. Thanks for your concerns but don’t worry I am doing good. Classes have started (human physiology so far). Human Physiology is pretty interesting. I Need to understand and memorise many things! Reminds me of bio and chemistry class during secondary school days! My first mid term exam is in 4 weeks!

Today’s thought

Memories can sometimes be so sharp they leave us bleeding.
