I was back from KL since Monday but I was to lazy to update earlier! Well 3 days flew by really fast. I had a great time over there. Frozan, thank you sooo much for your hospitality, for bringing me around and all!! The days were fun lol. Here are a few pictures to describe my overall trip.

Friday 20|05|05 : Met dar at Golden Mile for breakfast and then he sent me off.

Friday 20|05|05 : I didn’t bring so many things. Just a few clothes, a pair of slippers & running shoes and a gift.

Friday 20|05|05 : Upon reaching Kuala Lumpur after 6 hrs by coach. Frozan came to fetch me. It was not so easy to find me as the place (Pudu Raya) where the bus dropped us is a always very crowded and busy. Plus it’s not a very ‘clean’ place.

Friday 20|05|05 : After about 40 mins of drive, we reached her place. This is me & Frozan.

Friday 20|05|05 : Standing on the living room balcony. We can see the Petronas Tower, a small lake & a beautiful sunset.

Friday 20|05|05 : Dinner was at Pizza Hut. I had a delicious plate of spaghetti for only $4. In Singapore the same stuffs would cost $8. I didn’t get to taste afghan food as Frozan’s mum wasn’t around. Well, there sure will be a next time and maybe the next time would be in Afghanistan. Yeah I would iike to go there one day. I’ve seen pictures, I’ve heard real life stories but I’ve yet to experience it myself.

Friday 20|05|05 : Her sis found a lost kitten near the lift and brought it upstairs to feed her. The little cutie was crying for her mum. So eventually she returned the kitten.

Saturday 21|05|05 : On Day 2, we went to KLCC which is nestled between the Twin Towers. As you can see from the pic, it was drizzling.

Saturday 21|05|05 : Took a pic of the twin towers. Oh the sky was dull.

Saturday 21|05|05 : I saw this huge butterfly on the stairs.

Saturday 21|05|05 : In the evening we drove inside Frozan’s former university. The uni is located near the mountain.

Saturday 21|05|05 : This is where we had our Tom Yum Soup which I loved. There were a bunch of guys staring at us. Quite often people become curious when they see a covered girl with a non-covered girl.

Saturday 21|05|05 : This is the night when I updated from KL, after watching Mona Lisa Smile on HBO.

Sunday 22|05|05 : A quick breakfast before going out. I drink Milo every morning. This time I added some corn flakes to my milo.

Sunday 22|05|05 : Day 3 was the longest day. We spent one whole day at Genting Highlands (a city on the hilltop 2000 m above sea level and about 50 km away from KL). We took a coach from KL and then a cable car to bring us to the top. We waited for almost 1 hr for the cable car as the queue was extremely long. Genting is a nice place. I love the weather. It’s cool – it’s like winter in Mauritius.

Sunday 22|05|05 : Genting Highlands Resort has the distinction of having Genting Skyway – “the longest cable car in Southeast Asia” spanning 3.38km from the midhill at Gohtong Jaya to Highlands Hotel at the hilltop. Genting Skyway, at maximum speed of 21.6km per hour is also the fastest mono cable car system in the world.

Sunday 22|05|05 : This place is big. They have indoor + outdoor theme park, shopping malls, restaurants, entertainment shows and performances and impressive business conventions, all under one roof.

Sunday 22|05|05 : My last night in KL. Their friend came over and we chatted till 2 am. It was a fun night. We talked, joked … and finally decided to go to bed. The next day i.e Monday we woke up at around 6 am and all 4 of us went to look for the bus station where I was supposed to take my bus back to Singapore. We spent about half an hour driving around looking for that place lol.

Monday 23|05|05 : I bought some japanese peanuts in KL and ate some on my way back …
